TRUTH ALERT: Lower Taxes INCREASE TAX PAYMENTS

In a great editorial on July 21, 2008, The Wall Street Journal laid the foundation for lower taxes, and the continuation of the Bush tax cuts of 2003.
...The latest IRS data have arrived on who paid what share of income taxes in 2006, and it's going to be hard for the rich to pay any more than they already do. The data show that the 2003 Bush tax cuts caused what may be the biggest increase in tax payments by the rich in AMERICAN HISTORY (emphasis mine)
... The top 1% of taxpayers, those who earn (ed: a whole whopping!!!!) $388,806, paid 40% of all income taxes in 2006, the highest share in at least 40 years (my emphasis).
The loonies and socialists, which is the mainstream Democratic party, continue to lie to the American people with their claim of tax cuts for the rich! It is almost laughable how stupid the Democrats are..... I mean retarded..... oh wait, I can't use that word.... disingenuous they are. They like to play to the emotions of people, not for the good, but so they can win elections by buying votes with large government handouts.

It needs to be pointed out that, as mentioned in the WSJ's editorial, that Americans with an income below the median paid ONLY 2.9% of all income taxes!!!! In essence, the lowest income levels pay NO INCOME TAX!!!!!

Conservatives need to continue to press these numbers to the American people. We should be trying to expand the number of rich/wealthy in this country, not, as the Democrats want, try to expand the welfare/government dependant base for the purpose of vote buying.

Lastly, as again laid out in the WSJ's editorial, that if Obama were to raise taxes to the Carter year levels, the rich would pay roughly half of the 40% of all income taxes, 19%!!!!

Why? Part II

But nothing is worse than being hurt by the one person closest to you, a spouse. To keep matters short, I made a huge mistake on Friday, June 13th. Shortly after, I realized I made a mistake and tried to make things right. To be clear, I NEVER COMMITTED A JOHN EDWARDS TYPE OF MISTAKE! But, it hurt my wife and I don't blame her.

Now, I love my wife with all my heart and soul. I know truly she is the person I want to spend the rest of my life with and raise my three beautiful girls with; grow old, very old with her. But recently, she told me that she didn't want or think she wanted to work things out. I am heart broken! I made the mistake, now I need to find a way to save my marriage.

I guess, I'm getting what I deserve. But I want my wife to know I love her with all my heart; with all my soul; and all my being.

Why?

I learned the hard way, but you can never trust a friend.

I recently loaned, in my terms, a significant amount of money, which was promised to be paid back in a few days. The money was to be paid when this person received money from their estranged mom. That was two weeks ago tomorrow. Being the nice person I am, I allowed them to pay me on a Saturday... one week ago this past Saturday. It's now going on two weeks and I haven't seen a penny and this "friend" won't even address the subject.

I was there for them when they were in a pinch, and now when I probably won't make this months rent and can't afford my daughters birthday, they turned their back on me. This is so critical, that I may even risk my job, which I just started today; I became a driver for a local MPLS/StP courier company.

I loved my friend with all my heart, and would probably be stupid enough again to loan them money, but it is so disappointing that they would turn their back on what they said was a friend. I got used plan and simple. If I didn't run the risk of getting sued, and knowing everything I said above is fact, I would name this person and humiliate them. But, beyond this post and possible legal action, I'll take the high road.

My point in this whole post is to let everyone know, you can't even trust your best friend. I've learned this the hard way over the last couple years. If I didn't live to say one more thing, remember this: love your wife, your children, your grandparents and family. For they will be the only people you can ever trust.

2008 MILF

Once again, a group of Italians, and a few others, descended upon the extravagant city of Apple Valley. I wish I could say the same about TPC at Valleywood. I swear that the course will be the death of me, or I'll simply forget about the back nine.

Enough of me. The KARnation in Golf Pants took the the famed Lord Jones' cup again this year. A couple shots in the fairway or a couple putts that fall, Team Comment Trolls win. Of course, it wouldn't be a MILF if my partner Gherity didn't carry the team with an ridiculous 85 individual score. I shot more than 85. We lost by a two shots!

Of course you can get a complete run down over at Kool Aid Report.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Learned Foot and the ever lovely Mrs. Foot for their wonderful hospitality! And to all the other MILFers that make it a day to look forward to each year.

Are We Bored Yet?

Does anyone give a damn about the Presidential election of 2008? I don't, I haven't since oh say 2004! None of the candidates tickled my fancy, except Fred Thompson, but he was in the race for all of 1 day. Just Kidding!

But, as a good American, I will vote for McCain. Though he may or could be as dangerous as Obama; you just need to look at campaign finance or the issue of global warming. He won't allow islamic nutties to attack America. McCain won't get all orgasmic over appeasing the E.U or U.N (should we say F.U!). He will need to pick a running mate that doesn't say, "Hey dems, I'm lubed and ready". Anything less than a solid and real conservative could result in a Democrat White House. As conservatives are a principled bunch, a poor v.p. choice could led many to stay home.

That's all I'm going to write about the 2006-2008 Presidential election.
