It doesn't suprise me that Tim Pawlenty dropped out of the presidential race today. One could tell that he was running desperate of late by an through his attacks on Michele Bachmann. Truth be told, Pawlenty should have been more concerned of his liberal record than what Bachmann has "not" done as a member of Congress. For one, Pawlenty was a environmental liberal. Moreover, he was one of John McCain's most vocal supporters. That speaks a lot. This country is in need of a real conservative and Pawlenty is not one.
I will applaud Pawlenty's record of not raising income taxes while he was governor of Minnesota, but least we not forget he raised taxes under the auspicious of a cigarette fee. The addition of Rick Perry to the race will make it interesting. I would bet to say it is down to a three way race between Bachmann, Romney and Perry. But we are a long way away from the convention, anything can change.
